prices are great. especially the specials on the board or in the glass display in the front window. it can be a bit of a wait but that is because the food is good and reasonable. i like the combo bento dishes. stamina noodles are great on a cold day.

Niban is a quick and fairly cheap way for my husband and I to get our sushi fix.

He orders the Bento Box C without fail every time we go there. I have an unholy love for their steamed gyoza. The dipping sauce that comes with it is so good that I swear I would bathe in it if I could.

It’s close to home, casual, and the quality is consistent.

The sushi is soooooo freaking amazing here. And it gets better…it’s a pretty good bargain compared to all the other sushi places in San Diego that lack greatly in the quality of their food. Honestly, after eating here…I pretty much refuse to settle for anything else. Don’t know what to get now that I’ve convinced you to go check it out? Definitely start with a Crunchy Roll. It is my favorite roll. Be sure to get there before parking fills up…there’s always a long line during their dinner hours. Oh yeah…the service is great too :)

Seriously this is the BEST sushi restaurant in San Diego (and trust me, my family and I have eaten everywhere). Their crunchy rolls are to die for and the service is fantastic. Food is of the utmost quality and they NEVER skimp on fresh ingredients. If you don’t believe me, ask the huge line outside their door every single night. It’s a great family place to a great place to have a date :D
