My wife and I stopped at this unassuming place while we were In town for the Auto Show in April. I’d been here before for beers but never ate here. What a nice surprise. My wife had a bacon cheeseburger with fresh french fries. She said the beef tasted like prime. I had the lemon chicken with homemade mashed potatoes and spinach. Like the title says, it tasted liked home cooking. Reasonable prices, not like what you’d expect in Manhattan, and an Irish waitress to boot, made for a very pleasant lunch. Recommended.
