Oishii Sushi Bar

Are you kidding me? Do I need to write a review? Anyone who has ever been here (or heard of it) knows that the sushi specials are out of this world. The standard fare is noticeably better than most places, but if you visit Oishii without ordering some of the expensive specials, you’re completely missing the experience. I’ve been to Nobu in NYC, and thoroughly enjoyed the entrees there, but I have to say that the sushi at Oishii is better.

get the sashimi solely … huge pieces, incredibly fresh. all the rumors are true!

Oh. My. God. This place is heaven. If I had to eat all the meals for the rest of my life at a single restaurant, I would choose Oishii (assuming I could afford it, of course). The long wait for seats may be daunting, but it’s totally worth it, because your life will change after you try some of their incredible sushi creations. By the way, I got Yo-Yo Ma’s autograph at Oishii one time (he lives in the neighborhood), so that’s another great reason to stop by.
