The previous reviewer is right that this is a busy place, and rightfully so for the most part. The service is good and the environment is nice: college-town casual. I wouldn’t ever try to go there with a big group on a busy night, but lunch for two or three, at slightly off hours, is just right.

Oregano’s gets much of its bread from a fantastic local bakery, the Village Baker. Super baguettes.

The menu is full of American and Italian food choices, my favorite part is their wings, beware of their Hot Wings of Fire, they’re good but you’ll need a lot of water or beer to save your taste buds. There’s usually a wait but it’s worth it. It’s a fun small place right off of NAU campus. The locals have voted it the best place for a first date in flagstaff and best pizza numerous times. I say go and expect at least a half hour wait (no reservations accepted), get some pizza, wings and a beer. And for dessert get their pizza cookie, it’s phenomenal!

Went with a group of 12 on a Friday night homecoming weekend. It was packed but I guess this is pretty normal. They are small in size but big on flavore and it seems everyone knows this. We waited about 90 minutes but enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at the small (read minute)bar. Staff is super friendly and they pour a nice drink. Bar is limited though. Food was great. Loved the casual college town atmosphere.
