spicy ramen = runny nose

For a quick lunch come check out this small ramen shop in downtown LA. I often come here with my classmates on our long lunch days. The ramen is pretty standard, but the unique thing is the ability to choose the level of spiciness of the broth.

There are 8 or so different levels, with the mildest being non-spicy and the spiciest (Special #2) causes sweats and flowing snot.

There’s free parking with validation in the Weller Court underground parking lot.

Mouth-watering soup slow cooked with 13 different spices. Order a spice level of Sp. 3, finish it in 30 min. & you make The Wall Of Bravery.

too much hype!!

I went to this restaurant after seeing it on the show Man vs Food, and was not impressed with the food. I ordered the Miso soup #4 thinking that if I ordered 3, 2 or 1 I might not be able to eat it because of the spiciness, and let me…

Note: My favorite is Hakkata style, which this place does not do. However, they do what they do very well, and are good with refills, which I needed when I FAILED to finish the Special 2.
