Named for a lake in the Piedmont region of Italy, Orta was founded by Chef Jimmy Burke and wife, Joanie Wilson. In 2012 the restaurant was bought by Chef Brett Williams and his wife, Cara, who will run the front of the house. Take a moment to come join us in our spacious dining room, grab a drink at the pizza bar, and watch the chefs preparing your meal in our open kitchen. It is our goal to create a family atmosphere for our guests to enjoy a delicious authentic Italian meal.

never a disappointment

Nice Dinner and Drinks

I am reviewing 'Orta', not Vesuvio's. I have enjoyed a number of great meals there. The bar is very enjoyable and they make great drinks. The atmosphere is warm and enjoyable. I would recommend it.

reservations mean NOTHING!

We went to Vesuvio last night and arrived on time for our reservation. When we gave our name, we could see it was already crossed off. She said "why don't you wait in the bar, it should only be 10 minutes". After way more than 10…
