4.0This is an unfolding blossom of flavor on First Ave in Pike Place Market. The atmosphere is great for a casual, exotic lunch. The service is likewise casual and efficient. They will bring you a fork without it being requested, so you don’t have to eat with your fingers if you don’t want to. Personally, I love the sensual bonus of tearing the ingera (a large crepe/pancake) and grabbing a dollup of the stewed dish served atop it.
I haven’t been there for dinner, but I think the menu is the same. It’s definitely a good value and would be fun to go with some adventuresome friends. I wouldn’t consider it a venue for romance.

4.0I love this place! the combo platter and the spicy lamb stew are must-haves. Don’t bother with the rice; you need to have the injera bread. If you like spicy, I recommend asking for the extra “hot tray”, which will get you a small plate of harissa and half a hot pepper.
