It’s nearly that time of year – when Pappadaux starts getting fresh, live mud bugs and puts their boiled crawfish on the lunch menu for sometimes as little as $3.95/lb. You’ll probably want 2 lbs but I suggest ordering them 1 lb at a time. An order is served with warm french bread and butter and includes a small piece of corn on the cob and a couple of boiled red potatoes. I also like their crawfish bisque. It’s a generous portion and costs $6.95 at lunch or dinner, I think. Also, a good value is the fried shrimp from the lunch menu (seniors can order from the lunch menu anytime). My suggestion is to ask the waiter to substitute the french fries for fried onion rings at no extra cost.
