I particularly love their brunch menu, which is not incredibly expensive. It’s also a good spot to take out-of-towners for a SATC experience.

Their chocolate mousse is hands down the best in town. Skip entrees and go straight to dessert.

Have always wanted to try this place and finally got around to it on my last trip to NYC. We had a great corner table in the back (i strongly suggest getting one in the back). Love the feel and vibe of the place. Was there for lunch and arrived at 12pm. By 1230 th eplace was packed. Service was very good. The salad I had was fresh and tasty. I went with the steak frites main and it was cooked as ordered. It was a little big for my appetite and came with a load of nicely cooked not overly greasy fries. Dessert was a share of the warm chocolate cake which was nothing special. I would go back and further explore the menu.

This place is really hyped. I can’t say it lives up to it though. The food is good, but not great. The atmosphere is probably the worst as it’s insanely busy and loud. Prices are what you would expect of an overhyped bistro in the meatpacking. My rating is actually 3 stars but i clicked 4 by accident.

Pretty good brunch. Nothing amazing, pretty standard menu. Scene-y but not sure why. Nice outdoor seating.

Good place for brunch. Has a variety of foods that make your mouth water. Supposedly celebs are around at times.. i’ve never seen!

i had the steak and fries. nicely done. reservation was at 10 pm (all we could get) and while leaving at midnight, there was a line waiting to be seated!

if you can, get a table in the back. the place is BUSY and the noise travels.

Come hungry, leave drunk… The BEST pomme frites in the city. I swear this is THE place to meet interesting people (some are actually American) and eat simple bistro style food after a long evening of drinking before you realize at 1am “did anybody eat yet?”.. This place is a lot of fun and a short walk to PM or 5 minute cab ride to Cain.

This is a good place to have supper at like 1am.. their warm chocolate cake is AMAAAAAAZING.. best dessert ive ever tasted..

pastis is a great place to dine with friends. good service, good food, what more could you want?
