From OpenTable:

Chef Jean-Georges brings relaxed elegance to the West Village with Perry St - awarded three stars by the New York Times.

Jean-Georges’ son, Cedric Vongerichten, helms the kitchen, creating dishes that reflect his own keen instinct for balancing flavor and texture with an exquisite blend of French, American, and Asian influences and ingredients. The menu is inspired by the season, centering on the local market at Union Square.

Came here again, it was just as good, if not better the second time around. Loved their sodas, do the passion fruit + chili. Tuna Burger is fantastic!!

Fabulous decor! but you’re going to a restaurant to eat— if you wanted to enjoy decor, go to Crate and Barrel. I just can’t enjoy fancy food it seems. Another Jean Georges restaurant which I won’t return to.

(Perry St. and the West Side Highway — far West Village). If the idea of sparse, white tables, a Zen-feeling, and homemade drinks like lemon and thyme soda sound appealing, head to Jean-Georges masterpiece, Perry St. Again, like DB&D, they have an excellent 3-course weekly lunch menu. Their dinner should be in the expensive category, but if you want a calm, relaxing place in a wide-open space (most NYC places would have doubled or tripled the tables that they put down in a space like this), Perry St. will definitely not disappoint. Desserts are excellent.

Questionable Restaurant Management

Although I have always been a fan of the Jean Georges restaurants, having visited Perry St. a couple of times previously, I was less than fond of my experience there this past week. While departing from the restaurant, I inadvertently…

Good, not great

Oeverall this was a disappointment, given the high ratings on Zagat and elsewhere. Ambience is quiet and restrained, nice, with views of the Hudson River. Service was competent and efficient, though it could have been warmer. However the…

A lunch/brunch favorite

This is one of my top choices from bringing out-of-town guests for lunch or brunch--a beautiful space, fairly casual vibe, delicious food, all at a price that does not scare even my most budget-minded visitors. I've also spent one…
