5.0We had a very diverse group of people… all different ages, some that had never tried Vietnamese, some that had, and two people from New York that are used to the best of the best! Some of us were adventurous eaters, others were a little more conservative but no matter… every single one of us fell in love with this food!
Rare steak, flank and brisket… threw in all my basil, a couple of jalapenos (not to eat… just for the flavor), skipped the sprouts, drizzled in a bit of fish sauce, a few dollops of hoisin and a spoonful of sate. Ta da… my perfect bowl of pho!
I don’t know why but the pork here can be hit-or-miss… sometimes it’s basically like bacon. Not that I have anything against bacon but when you’re expecting nice, big chunks of charbroiled pork, it can be a bit of a letdown. Today however, it was perfect!
