Phoenix serves up some good Cantonese food. I’ve been to this location many many times.
This time we had the crab and fish maw soup, tofu with seafood, clams with Thai basil, hainan chicken, two “Lan’s” veg dish: Chinese broccoli and snow peas, with some sliced fish cake. Everything was really good. And actually better than I remember from my last visit.
Phoenix serves up very well-executed Cantonese dishes, and fast! A great standby. As much as I hate to say it, the food at this location is far better than the original Phoenix Inn in Chinatown. But the Chinatown location will always be more dear to my heart. And thank goodness for the Phoenix Boutique that’s closer to my hood, I count my blessings every time I crave Chinese food and can stop in there so easily.
Was back here again recently and boy the service has gone way downhill. The food was fine, but really too bad about the service.
