This restaurant sits in the very luxurious and elegant Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, which means world-class food and a classy atmosphere. There are genuine Picasso paintings hung about this restaurant, and if you’re lucky, you can get a front row seat to view the Bellagio fountains as well. It is lovely and romantic.
All the food here is fantastic, but the reason this restaurant makes my list of memorable restaurants is for one reason – the foie gras. It is seriously heaven on a plate. Flavorful and sweet, the foie gras absolutely melts in your mouth. It’s the type of dish you can’t forget and wish you could keep coming back to… and if it weren’t so hard on the wallet, I would. I’ve had foie gras several other times, and they really, really, don’t even come close.
Expect to pay about $100 per person (not including drinks, tax, or tip), so be prepared. There are two options here – the 5-course Menu Dégustation (basically the special featured items), or the 4-course Prix Fixe. The foie gras will be on the Menu Dégustation, which is slightly more expensive… but I have to say it is entirely worth it. It’s that good.
If you like foie gras, can afford it, and are in Vegas, it’s a must-try.
