Pizza Luce is a classic choice for pizza in downtown Minneapolis. Just blocks from First Ave. and Target Center, the location is great for pre-show or pre-game meals. The pizza is outstanding, as are the sandwiches. If you like artichokes, try the hearts they pile on the pies here; the only regret you’ll have is not doing it sooner. I have noticed that sometimes when I swing by for a bite before a Wolves game the bartender looks hopelessly overworked, and patrons sometimes wait long periods for their bar drinks. If you’re just in the house for the pizza, however, you shouldn’t have any issue with the service.

I love Pizza Luce because they have many interesting vegetarian options for pizza that is not the run of the mill veggie pizza. Barbeque sauce and mock dock, fakin bacon, pineapple. I love it! However their beer selections are not that good. The only real thing that is worth getting is their signature pizzas, their sandwiches and other entrees can be found anywhere else. The artichoke dip is super good as well-better than most. They have many locations that are convenient Lyndale S, Downtown, and Franklin Ave. in Mpls. Selby Ave. in St.Paul and they have one in Duluth as well. If you like Galactic Pizza you will also love Pizza Luce. Service is fine.
