Pueblo Viejo is the best restaurant in Cleveland. They serve freshly prepared mexican food and the service is (usually) very good. There have been times when I have eaten there twice in one day! My favorite dish for dinner is the Fajitas Poblanos, for lunch I would recommend the taco salad (it is huge – you will not be able to finish it!) They have a very reasonable lunch menu with complementary queso (along with the standard salsa and chips.) To go orders come with a small order of salsa and chips as well. If you go on your birthday beware that they will sing to you whilst placing a sombrero on your head and whipped cream and a cherry on your nose. Call ahead for large parties and be prepared for a short wait on weekend evenings.
This is my favorite dish on their menu. It comes in beef, chicken or combination and combines meat, poblano peppers, red bell peppers, onions and bacon fajita style. I believe this one is served with beans a la charro (bean soup,) and flour tortillas. I always get the beef and this is a dish that reheats for a midnight snack very well.
