The Royal Unicorn is one of the few Chinese restaurants in this area and that seems to be what keeps them in business. Their food quality is spotty, we’ve gotten decent food just often enough to tempt fate & go back again, only to be disappointed by things such as uncooked egg foo yung (explanation, they didn’t want to overcook it and have it be too dry). The last couple of times we’ve tried to order out our orders have been messed up; the first time we got our mu shu pork but they left out the crepes, the second time they left out the crepes again (after we specifically stated we wanted them & the woman on the phone checked to see if this was something they carried) AND another dish was missing entirely. The person in charge was rude when I spoke to him and, when I asked him if he wanted to keep our business he said he would rather lose it than give us our entire order fresh. DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS RESTAURANT, GIVE YOUR MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO CARES.

I have been coming to the Royal Unicorn for about 5 years now, and my family and I absolutely love the food and service there. Benny, Peter and Can have all become good friends of mine and not to mention, the food is delicious! I immeadiately feel welcome when i step into the doors. It makes Chinese food EVEN better, believe it or not! They have never messed up my order and the people there are extremely nice. I’ve recommended this restaurant to all of my friends and they have also been very pleased with it. So, for a great meal, i recommend the Royal Unicorn. Affordable, but delicious.
