Overall, it is not a bad experience. I, almost to a fault, always order a meal with special instructions. Don’t do that here, I have this same problem the last two times I have gone to Ruby Tuesdays. I went both times when family was visiting, they have a great variety of food at a decent price as well as a salad bar. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ruby Minis (Sliders). The first time I asked the waitress what comes on the sandwiches, her reply was only pickle and lettuce. I asked for them plain. I received sandwiches with lettuce and mayonaise. I brought this to the waitresses attention, she said she’d have them make me new ones. After only a couple of minutes I received the sandwiches and as a precaution checked the chicken, on the bottom you could still see mayonaise! All they had done was redipped the chicken in sauce. I complained again, she swore she had no idea why the cooks would do that. The supervisor did come and apologize, especially since I then had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my food and waived the cost of my meal. The second trip to Ruby Tuesdays was almost the same story. I made it very clear to the waitress that I just wanted them plain. After being served I received sliders with mayo, I spoke to the waitress about it, then I received sliders with the mayo wiped off and redipped. I didn’t have to wait as long this time for my re-order but was very disappointed. Everyone else’s meals were prompt, hot and enjoyable. Maybe it just means no special orders here.

On a separate occassion I went for lunch with a co-worker. We put in an appetizer order and our food order. Our appetizer came out promptly and hot. After our server hanging out talking to the bartender she finally came by to ask if there was anything else we needed and we mentioned our meals. She failed to put them in and we didn’t have time to wait. The manager did come by and apologize for the waitresses mistake.

I have yet to go to this Ruby Tuesday location without an issue. The food is good and so are the prices. Maybe that’s why I keeping giving it another chance.
