I met with my sister-in-law and her family at the Rustic Diner for dinner when I was in Cranford. It was easy to get there for her since it was close to her house. Diners are usually have the same type of food that is fast and easy to make for reasonable prices. I also find it greasy depending on the place. Plus I’m also picky with what I eat.
I played it safe and ordered a cheeseburger with fries thinking it would be okay. When it came out the burger was overdone. I was going to give it back but I didn’t want to wait for another one. My sister-in-law got a nice tuna salad sandwich and I realized I should have stuck with the sandwiches since they looked good.
The Rustic Mill DIner is not a bad place to eat and is convenient for those in the heart of sowntown Cranford. It’s near the train store and all the stores so it’s a good place to drop in for a quick bite to eat.

I went to this diner due to all the power outage in the area of Roselle Park, I usually go to the Sunrise Diner which is great but since they had no power I had no choice and went to the Rustic Mill. I will NEVER dine at this place again.…

A bad review for this diner. Unbelievable. Every time I go in the staff welcomes me very politely and the waitresses are nice. The food comes out fast and is very good. Def. a must if in the area
