good restaurant name

The Rusty Pelican is a nice seafood restaurant the sits right next to the ocean. You get a great view of the ocean and a bunch of boats docked. Parking here is annoying since you can only valet park, though at least it is pretty cheap. The food, while good, is nothing to get too worked up about. Out of so many seafood restaurants, this place seems pretty normal. It still tastes good, and the prices aren’t too outrageous for a place along the ocean.

Oh, and there really are a couple rusty pelican statues in front of the building. =) Just don’t cut yourself on it.

It had good crab and was delicious, but the taste was a bit too strong and it could have used more food chunks in it.

The fish was pretty good and I really liked the sauce and spices they put on it. Tasty mashed potatoes too.

Good Garlic Bread

But the Garlic Bread is where it ends… My fish was undercooked (raw in the middle) so I sent it back and they just microwaved a new piece for me. It was as dry as beef jerky. One of the guys with me ordered the blackened swordfish and got the grilled swordfish. Another in our party ordered the filet mignon and it was fatty with gristle. When we originally arrived at the restaurant, we were seated at a poor table in the back. We asked to be moved to the open table with the ocean view and the host acted like we asked him to give us the restaurant. We complained that our meals were unsatisfactory and we were given one of the dishes for free. The garlic bread was incredible and the waitresses were very nice.
