This place is just unbelievable. On the right going down Combee Rd. before you get to US 98 to go to Bartow. I think it’s been there for many years, doubt it’s been changed all that time – we can hope it doesn’t ever change – it’s still old-time-comfortable country cookin’ and good-ole-boys-n-girls place to go (dressy is welcome too, it’s up to you!) Parking lot still not the best, but it’s about always full so, you know people aren’t worried about the parking. Service is as quick as possible, depending on the crowd – the food is worth the wait – the staff is there to “get you what you want” – great folks… Next to Country Angels in Polk City, I’d say it’s #2 on my ‘fine local hangout’ hit parade.
This omelette covered the plate (onions, peppers, tomatoe, cheese and other goodies – bacon crispy, home fries out of sight – toast, excellent coffee!
This omelette was great according to my better half – I gotta have a lot more “stuff” in mine than he does – he had sausage & toast and home fries (I got half of the potatoes! but ended up with “doggie box” – my eyes bigger than —you know the rest!)
