1.0I used to eat there a lot and they were always rude but the food was decently good so I kept going. They know people like the food so they think they treat their customers like crap. I haven’t been back in 2 years…. that’s just how bad the service really is. Their chicken is always dry, the sauce is runny, and their Terriyaki dinners are usually drenched, they use too much.
There’s a Japanese restaurant, KOTOS, that is only a few miles away from them that tastes 10X better! The staff is great and food is awesome. The meat is never dry and the sauce is good and thick.
SAKES – They don’t have a smoking section, so you have to breathe it all in. There were multiple occasions where they were rude especially with call-ahead orders. They act like you’re bothering them. The last (final) time I called it sounded like the same girl as always. I called at 8:40pm and asked to place a pick up order, she asked me if I would be there before 9:00pm (closing). I told her yes, I was 5 minutes way down the street. She would not let it go, she kept on and on insisting that if I wasn’t there it would be a waste, they close at 9pm and I have to be there. OMG! I had just told her I would! So, again I told her I would be there in 5 minutes. Her response was “Fine, what do you want?” Ok, that was rude but unfortunately I had called orders in so many times, I was used to her attitude. I began telling her my order, she starts breathing heavy in the phone and with attitude AGAIN she says “you have to be here by 9pm.” After that I just told her to forget the order, it’s not worth it. She actually yelled at me “Fine!” and hung up on me. I still can’t believe she did that! She was ridiculous!
always dry or overcooked, the sauce is runny.
