After being a loyal customer for 7 years, calling to place take out orders at least twice a month, I called Sake Express to place an order. I was told that they do not take orders over the phone and the person hung up. I called back to see what the deal was, and why I suddenly could not place an order over the phone. He hung up again. I called again and he hung up on me immediately. He hung up on me again. I called a fourth time and asked to please speak with a manager. He hung up on me again. I called a fifth time and someone else answered. I asked to speak with a manager and she hung up on me too! I called a sixth time and when she answered, I said, “I will keep calling until I speak to a manager.” She passed the phone to someone. I asked if he was the manager. He confirmed. I told him that I had been hung up on 5 times by his staff when trying to find out why I couldn’t place an order over the phone, which was completely unacceptable. He said, “So? There was nothing to talk about we just don’t do that.” I said, “You know, I would have come in to place an order if someone had been decent, but instead you take the low road and treat a loyal customer of 7 years this way. Again, he said, "So?” I told him I would tell everyone I could about them and do everything I can to encourage patrons to go elsewhere. He said, “Do what you want to do,” and also hung up!
Needless to say, I am posting this experience everywhere and will be a thorn in his side for the next 7 years, or until he closes down, whichever comes first.
