a friend treated me to dinner here, and i was pleasantly surprised to find a nice (but still casual) thai restaurant with a family-owned feel set in a very modern interior. the place itself is huge (maybe because of the high ceilings), and makes an excellent place for families or couples to grab a casual meal together. i came on a monday night, and it was packed! the prices are also affordable; service is prompt & friendly.
i asked for not spicy, but it still had a bit of a kick to it. overall, you get a boat-load of noodles mixed in w/all the usual veggie goodies. i got mine w/duck b/c duck is great – it tasted juicy, altho the occassional dry piece popped up. but overall, i was quite pleased w/my dish.
my friend, a green curry fanatic, ordered this dish and i got to try a little bit. it comes in what looks like a manually converted soup bowl (the handles was broken off), overflowing w/shrimp, and vegetables. the shrimp are juicy and good in number.
what can i say? brown rice is brown rice. bland as heck, but so much better for you.

My mother and I went here once for dinner while I was in town. The food was amazing, the service was great and I love the outdoor dining! It has a nice upscale feel without the upscale price. Plus it is just outside of the old town strip so parking isn’t as bad as most places in Old Town. The food was very fresh tasting. I would definitely go back here anytime I am in Pasadena!
