GREAT FOOD!

We dropped in with 8 people. All the food was prepared quickly and everyone loved their lunch! A wide variety of orders and all were good.

Tasty sandwiches and friendly service

Looking for an alternative to Subway, we dropped into Sandbag’s to get some sandwiches to go. As we arrived, they were actually closing early due to an issue with the grill, but the guy offered to reopen to make us some cold sandwiches if we wanted. We got a club and veggie sandwich along with free drinks. With each sandwich they also include a little treat of 2 small chocolate chip cookies.

The last I saw, on certain days (mon & thurs) and certain times (4-7pm) you can get a free drink with your sandwich.

I’ll definitely be dropping by again when I’m in my sandwich mood. There were a couple interesting hot sandwiches on the menu that I need to try (like the korean bbq beef sandwich!).

Dishes I tried:

Just the right size and amount of crunchiness. The combination of 3 toasted slices of bread, crispy bacon and fresh lettuce made for a very crunchy and tasty sandwich. That mayonnaise might be a bit rich for some, but you can order light mayo.

The key ingredients here are the cheese and avocado. Combine it with the fresh, crispy lettuce and you have a surprisingly good sandwich.

Not nearly as gourmet as I expected. The sandwich was small, the tuna was overly mayonaised and relished, and the complimentary cookie wasn’t worth the price of free.
