The food was good. I had Nasi Rames and the price is certainly affordable. The best desert to get, which I had, was es pasra, a combination of tape, cendol, nata de coco, shredded ice w/ syrup and condense milk.

Home cooking away from home

I took a group of my non-Indonesian friends to this place and some have never really tried Indonesian and I was really curious if they liked it or not. Most told me they loved it, some I couldn’t tell if they did or not, no matter though, I still love it :-)

The best dish was the lamb satay, it was perfectly seasoned, flavorful, tender and just oh oh good.

Another dish that is not the typical Indonesian food was the shrimp in creamy cheese sauce, hhhmm, I don’t know why the owner manipulated me in ordering this, it’s basically can I have shrimp with my velveeta cheese.

This is family owned and they will take care of you, if you don’t understand an ingredient, they will do their best to explain it to you.

The parking is shared with other businesses, a video store, small philipino bakery or market, a chinese/japanese storefronts.

If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and you won’t regret it.

It’s just the basic tofu omelette. It is served with pickled carrots and cucumbers and sweet soy sauce (ketcap)
