Semo sushi is a small japanese restaurant in Fremont with an extensive selection of decently priced sushi rolls and other Japanese fare. The food is well prepared and the fish is quite fresh.

What makes Semo sushi stand out, though, is the excellent service you receive. The staff is quite friendly and attentive, but also are attuned with the proper times to ask if you need anything.

They are also extremely knowledgeable and, in my opinion, have excellent taste. During our meal, we were having trouble deciding which rolls to order off the extensive menu, so we asked our waiter Tim for recommendations. After just telling what kind of fish and other ingredients were craving, he was able to select an incredible set of rolls that complemented each other extremely well. The service really topped off a great night!
