My two year old and I had Brunch Buffet there on Sunday morning. We were greeted promptly and seated by the window. We were able to people watch from the window which thrilled my toddler to no end.

The service was less than stellar. When we requested items they were delivered in a timely and courteous manner. However our dishes were not cleared at intervals I considered acceptable. Typically when a dish is empty and placed on the edge of the table the server recognizes that the dish can be removed. In our servers defense I think my toddler threw her for a loop.

The Brunch Buffet is petite. However the presentation is truly mesmerizing. The buffet is artfully designed in a manner that makes you think “It’s too pretty to eat”.

The salads on the buffet were oh so yummy. Most of the salads were lightly dressed. The condiments were creative and some I had never seen before. The hot pickles were too die for. The Hummus was creamy and motivated a return trip for a refill.

From the hot dish section I tried a beef stew. The beef was tough and chewy. Not anything I would try again.

I also tried a lamb dish is creamy white sauce. It was sour and just did not appeal to my taste buds not matter how many condiments I added.

The final dish I tried was a couscous stew on the end. It was the one redemptive warm dish. It was brimming with fresh vegetables and nicely spiced.

The Sunday Brunch comes with soup, bread, and felafel. It is 12.95 versus the normal daily rate of 8.95 minus the aforementioned goodies. The kids buffet price is $6.95.

The soup tastes like a spicy lentil/split pea combo. And let’s just say I had to resist the temptation to assist my toddler with her bowl. My toddler liked it so much that despite the 16 ounces of water it took for her to get through it she persevered.

Would I eat here again? Definitely!
