4.0I had stayed away from this restaurant for awhile because I’d seen the menu and thought that it was a bit pricey for my current budget. But I recently discovered the happy hour and late night specials are very reasonable. And if you enjoy Belgian beer on tap, it’s the best selection in the region by far. During happy hour (4:30-6:30? Monday through Friday) the Belgian taps are half off, with $1 off other drinks. So the cheaper end of the Belgians (Leffe) may run about $2.60 for a quarter liter. And the Mystery Beer -always an import or a microbrew- is a low price all day. There seem to be food specials each weekday as well (Monday happy hour includes half price pizzas). The pizza is thin-crust and very good. From 10pm-midnight Monday through Friday there are food specials, including half-price pizza and low cost snacks (fries, pita with dips, chicken…). The only disappointment was the Belgian frites- what I had hoped would be crispy, light fries ended up being over-cooked regular fries. I’ll try the sweet potato fries or their french fries next time.
’Definitely worth a try.
