5.0It’s a very nice restaurant. Great for all occasions, service was very nice and environment was very clean. They even have a person in the bathroom handing out good quality paper towels!! Highly recommended!!
very fresh and pleasing to the mouth
the best crab cakes i’ve ever had!! there are 2 types of crab cakes on the menu. Make sure you get the lump crab cake since they use more real crab meat.
they are good but not as good as the crab cakes!!
forgot the name of it but you can find it under the appetizers. they are so fresh and glide down your throat smoothly…yum

4.0Great service. A bit crowded and noisy. The seafood potions are large and ver fresh. I would not recommend the Crab roasted potatoes – they did not live up to expectations. All in all, it was a pleasant dining experience. I would rate it up there with Oceanaire.
The largest Alaskan King Crab legs I have ever eaten. I was expecting the crab cake to be fresh lump crab, but it was shredded. The stone crab was delicious.

4.0Wow! What a spread, there was something for every one. The omelet station through the desert room, there was too much to chhose from. The hot foods from fried shrimp, crab cakes, to sliced tenderloin and turkey breast. Shushi, King crab chunks (outrageous) Salmon pastrami, cold shrimp…Oh! and salads too, cold giant asparagus. Bagels and rolls and a toaster. The servers and staff overdid themselves to make you welcome.
The price $39.99 (why not $40.00 even?) per person. plus Tax and a modest tip.
Outstanding

3.0I think Shaw’s over-rated as far as food and ambiance go….ate here more than a few times and was never really wowed for the price….plus service was spotty at best, especially when not eating in the formal dining room.
Good, but I’ve had better elsewhere….

5.0Came here for work-related lunch during a weekday. So it wasn’t terribly crowded. Ambiance is what you would expect out of a well-known crabhouse in Chicago with that giant billboard on 90/94 as you head into the city. Fancy, gourmet, great service – all the works. I absolutely LOVE seafood. So I was debating between the sushi, crab cakes, vs lobster. My boss recommended the lobster roll. It was amazing.
Toasted, soft, warm baguette, lightly buttered to perfection, overflowing with heaps on heaps of fresh lobster meat and light mayonaisse based dressing… Oh it was heavenly. Home made potato chips and pickle on the side. I am ready to go back! The sheer memory of it is making my mouth water again.
