Shula’s 347 is located in the newly renovated Sheraton Hotel and Spa downtown. I had a great first impression of the restaurant— the decor is a nice blend of sports and upscale amenities. The hosts were friendly and prompt to seat us- always a plus. Our waitress was friendly as was most of the wait staff from what I could see. I ordered a Caesar salad and the black and blue burger (our waitress highly recommended it). The Caesar salad was a little heavy on dressing for my taste, but a typically good one none the less. The black and blue burger was AMAZING!!! (Not for those who don’t enjoy blue cheese.) I am not one to be able to finish a whole meal in one sitting, but I gave this one a valiant try. I am looking forward to returning and trying something else new.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The concept reminded me alot of Houston’s restaurants, with an upscale sports bar in the front and nicer diining in the back, including a private dining room I am interested in booking for my daughter’s upcoming rehearsal dinner. Everything on the menu that we tried was superb, including the braised short rib and pecan crusted salmon. Their extensive wine selection made me pretty impressed as well. I will definitely return and recommend to all my friends. OH, and the waiter even offered to have valet pull our car around as we paid for the dinner! (*And the valet is free, might I add). 5 stars, hope this place sticks around for a while!!!!
