Well, the beloved Eden Garden was closed, so we wandered over to Sinbad. My friend assured me its good. I should have known better. The red flags went up when I noticed that next to the baba-ganoush, dolmas, and kabobs, there was pizza, chinese egg rolls, and french fries. Hmmm. I would like to like this place since its so close and open for lunch, but I just found hummus terribly bland, like it came out of a can. My fatoush salad was okay, but the dressing not as flavorful as Eden Garden or Mediterranean Garden. The falafel was fine. My friend ordered a beef dish and that was again just okay. But they did serve beer, which was nice on a warm afternoon.

I think I would rather go to Sergio’s Mexican a couple doors down if I want a quick casual lunch.
