Great if you want the sort of old-fashioned Cantonese-American food that will probably have all but disappeared in 20 years or so. I go for the “comfort food”— egg foo yong, egg rolls, pork fried rice. The sort of thing I would not eat if it hadn’t been a childhood treat in the 1960s! They do a great job at this sort of dish -- I seriously have never had any better. And the hot-sour soup is magnificent. I love the decor-- check out the BATS carved on the hostess stand!
While I would love to go there on Christmas Eve, in the family tradition, we tried this once and it was a horror show— my uncle’s wife (who comes from a family that owned a Chinese restaurant on the North Shore & speaks fluent Cantonese) ended up BUSING OUR FUTURE TABLE herself because it had just been sitting there un-bused for something like an hour while we waited in the bar.

This chinese food restaurant is leasily accessible and has a large, well appointed dining room. Prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and not too heavily breaded. Courteous service with a smile, the majority of the time, and meals are turned out pretty quickly.
If you enjoy live entertainment, the average sized lounge is opened up on fridays and saturdays to triple the size and add a stage and dance floor. Be forewarned though. Don’t try this unless you enjoy being entertained by 40 somethings, in prom dresses or button downs and skin tight jeans (and when I say buttom d o w n s, I mean waaaay down, so that the snakes of man hair curling from any given shirt tries to reach out and choke ya as you pass)
This is about the best there is. Shrimp is battered slightly heavily, but the chicken fingers are nice and meaty with not too much breading…the boneless spareribs are tasty and tender….and the teriyaki is to die for, juicy and flavorful. A perfect complement to all these naughty apps is the house fried rice. Chunks of chix breast meat, shrimp, and pork…a few veggies thrown in and yum!

Love this place. I still go there now that I live 40 mins away. The food is amazing, amazing drinks... must get a scorpion bowl and a suffering bastard or two. Cool atmosphere, food comes out super fast, fun place for groups.
