The bartender at Franelli last Friday night recommended “Snack” to me as I had a friend arriving from out of town in 15 minutes. Deciding to take his advice, we had scrumptous lamb triangles served with arugula/cherry tomato salad for starters, then Spanish mackerel with Manilla clams and mashed fingerling potatoes. WOWzers…the Mackerel made my mouth tingle-perhaps it was the skin of the fish, or some miracle (Πολύ μικρή λέξη. Δοκιμάστε με άλλη λέξη!) I think that’s the right translation, but don’t arrest me if it’s not! The service was easygoing, friendly and made a decent wine recommendation as well. Go, go, go!
