Welsh Rarebit!

I love the bar in St. John. It’s a great casual place to go for a glass of wine and some delicious Welsh rarebit. Who knew cheese on toast could be THIS good? Better with a pint of Greenwich Meantime. St. John specializes in nose-to-tail eating, which not everyone might be into. But for the faint of heart, just have the Welsh rarebit and you’ll leave very happy.

Dishes I tried:

(Note that I paid £5 not $5.)
Delicious cheesy goodness.

Great place. Unfortunately the menu didn’t have what our friends suggested. We had some good food… the bone marrow is highly suggested.
