So I had been told a while back that this was a really good spot for Sunday brunch.

Well…it’s expensive…and not quite worth the dough you’re paying for it.

First off, when we got there, it was dead. I had anticipated a line…a large dining area…long buffet tables…but no, none of the above.

They do have an omelet station which is probably the only highlight of the place.

Don’t misinterpret…the food isn’t awful, but sheesh, for $20 a head, you want to see some kickass brunch with hungry diners clambering to get in…but no.

Actually, this was two days before St Patrick’s Day, so they did have corned beef and cabbage, (Boiled Dinner), on the buffet and that was actually pretty good too.

An abnormally large table of desserts and a chocolate fountain, while sounding great in theory, in practice all of these desserts looked like plastic demos of what a good dessert should look like. I didn’t go for dessert.

Most of the other dishes might have been good had there been a quick turnover rate and fresh batches brought out.

The lack of “mouth-traffic” left this brunch as a disappointment at best.

Maybe if they charged about $10 a place…it might be a place worth stopping to get your nom on some average, but cheap, eats.

$20…c’mon now.
