Strathos Bar & Grill

The service here goes from extreme to extreme; and by that I mean it is either very good or very bad and slow. If the owner is there he comes over to all of the tables and says hello and is very friendly. I find that when he is there the service is usually very good. The prices are a little high for pub fare but their food specials are great value for money. Almost all of the food I have had there is great. Namely, the prawn appetizer, lasagne, and chicken souvlaki pita; all very tasty. This pub is in my neighbourhood so I usually only go there when I am feeling lazy. The reason I say that is because although the food and service are generally good the place itself is a dive. Old beaten up décor, dirty chairs and tables, and the bathrooms are not that clean either…If they got renovations I would come back a lot more.
