Nothing Exciting
Depending on the “staff of the day” your order process can either be very easy or somewhat frustrating. Subway is trying to “be more than a sub sandwich joint”. And they need to just focus on what “brought them to the dance”…sandwiches!
Look…when you ask somebody to put “lettuce” on your bread and they sprinkle just enough to partially cover…and you have to repeat “a bit more please” three times just to get the sandwich making process started…you know it is going to be “one of those moments” where you might have chosen another place to eat.
This happens much too often at the Hugo Subway…“a little more olives please…maybe a bit more onions…how about more than four sprigs of spinach please…etc”.
The Hugo Subway “is what it is”. So just be prepared to focus on the sandwich being made rather than the menus and signs on the walls…or…you will get home and find yourself saying…“What the heck happened here?”
