decor is classy & elegant, especially so for a korean restaurant. the side dishes are top notch, and a favorite for my very picky mom. they also bring out 10+ for dinner. my favorite is the potato salad.. but sadly, it wasn’t served my last visit. the waitstaff is friendly (for a korean place), and i especially love the older ladies who take charge of your Bbq meat by cutting, grilling, and turning it over.
cons: the weekend dinner wait may be 30+ minutes (unheard of for korean resturants NOT in ktown), and you may have to resort to the usage of the buzzer on your table.. which i dread
$55-100+. variety of different meats, such including galbi, pork, chicken, chadol (grilled thinly sliced beef), shrimp, and veggies (button mushrooms, onions, garlic). dip in one of their sauces.. fyi the chili sauce is almost a salsa (has tomato in it). Great for a large group.
5 stars, according to my family. comes with pre-sashimi side dishes of sunomono, seaweed salad, escargo.. then the sushi selection of albacore, tuna, fatty tuna, salmon, uni, etc.. served with post-sashimi hot dishes.
short-rib meat. a bit sweet, but still delish
my favorite, dip it in the choice of sauce (sweet soysauce, or sesame oil) and eat with plenty of green onion salad =)
korean-style, with the udon & rice porridge to complete the meal. of course, it’s minimum 2 orders.. which can possibly feed 3. i prefer the one at Seoul Garden (ktown)
