I Opened this restaurant in the year 2000 with the determination to serve only the finest food from the cleanest kitchen in a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. Since then Surya has been featured in the LOS ANGELES MAGAZINE, LOS ANGELES TIMES, LA WEEKLY , ZAGAT and also rated very highly in the LOS ANGELES CITY SEARCH ONLINE GUIDE. We were also selected as " the best of" by the FOOD NETWORK, a national cable channel.
SURYA has met this success because we respect your dining experience and aim for your complete satisfaction. Every dish we prepare is an authentic link to my Northern Indian heritage .
SURYA means " THE SUN" in Sanskrit.
