Best sushi in town
Located next to a Planned Parenthood Express and a 7-11, you wouldn’t suspect that the finest sushi restuarant in San Diego would be nestled in the back corner of an East Pacific Beach strip-mall. Get your reservations early, this place is always packed. Sushi Ota has what seems to be an all Japanese staff, and they feature extremely high quality fish, presented with unmatched elegance. The prices are in the upper range, but it beats out all the other places that charge the same amount for inferior food. The menu doesn’t appear to have a lot of variety, but one can order other rolls and sushi dishes that are not listed. The Sushi chefs are the most knowledgeable in the county.
