Sushi Roku is designed to reflect a modern Japanese style, highlighted by authentic Asian woods, stone, and water. The menu features fresh California Sushi, luscious salads, specialty appetizers, an extensive selection of hot entrees. A full bar offers mixed cocktails as well as carefully selected Hot and Cold Sake list. Guests can enjoy their visit at either the sushi bar, one of the hand-made bamboo dining tables, one even outside on the patio adjacent to a cascading waterfall and tranquil pond. Sushi Roku's chefs prepare innovative small dishes out of succulent, sliced hunks of raw fish. The scallop dynamite is tender and sweet--one of the best in town--and the rich black cod is a perfect counterbalance to the more delicate sashimi dishes. Try any sashimi appetizer, such as salmon or bonito, with tangy garlic ponzu sauce and jalapeno tempura. There are also daily sushi specials that usually include rarer and more expensive Japanese imports such as ishi-tai (black tail snapper), sayori (half beak) and kohada (gizzard shad).

Loves it!

It's a great fancy place to have a dinner party before hittin the Hollywood scene. I'd def go back if there was an occasion goin on.

Hum, really within special on the food side. Was expecting more from omakase, sushi was very mediocre. Atmosphere is nice.
