Trendy Japanese restaurant. We ordered the Chef’s selection and had some great dishes and some not so great. I’m probably just not so fond of some of the fusion dishes. I would try the restaurant again and maybe pick my own dishes next time.

I’ve been here twice, my first experience was better than my second as I went to lunch the second time. The lunch menu is not as extensive as the dinner menu and for that, I had to take away a star. The lunch sushi wasn’t that great as I was really hoping to try the lobster sashimi again. If you ever get to come here for dinner, definitely have the lobster sashimi special. It was delicious.

I liked it. It was super trendy though but I mean really cute. All I had was sushi and it was pretty good sushi and not too expensive (in terms of sushi) so yeah it was yummy.

The restaurant wasn’t too bad. I’m not too big of a fan of fusion cuisine. I would say the food is good, but nothing to really rave over. I agree that the last review about the peruvian corn was a very interesting side dish. I actually really enjoyed that. It was a Shrimp and Chimichurri Anticuchos. It was like barbecue sticks in a peruvian style with the corn. The corn was really interesting actually, not what is normally associated as corn. The corn used in this dish was of a more chewy consistency, which almost reminded me of a potato. Anyway, aside from that I also had the chicken teriyaki samba style, wish was really good. It was a good portion size and was really filling. Something to be sure to try while dining here are the cocktails. They’re awesome here. Aside from the food, the ambience is great. I’m a big fan of Brazilian samba, and thats all they play. Its a lively environment to dine in for sure.

The peruvean corn is an interesting side to the traditional sushi dishes. I actually love the spicy tuna rolls here with the hot sauce. Great atmosphere and definately a place for larger groups. The fusion works well and its great if you have a partner who doesnt ‘do’ sushi and you have the craving. try and get a seat upstairs and be sure to book. Its very popular. If you are visiting Miami there is a Sushi Samba on Lincoln Rd that’s a lot less busy.
