I went there to find out how good were all these specialty rolls they offered. There are over 70 different rolls says one review. Upon reading the menu, I discover that most of the rolls have cream cheese them, not something that I like in my rolls, but we tried 4 different kinds anyway.
Godzilla rool: It had fried crawfish, cream cheese, and some kind of chilles on the inside and was wrapped in avocado and served with Sriracha sauce. I didn’t like the the cream cheese, and felt like it didn’t go with the rest of the roll.
Dallas roll: It contained tuna, yellowtail, fresh salmon, snow crab, and avocado and was wrapped with daikon. It was bland tasting compared to all the other spicy rolls.
LIR rolll: our waiter’s favorite roll and ours as well. It had spicy tuna on the inside and salmon of the outside with a spicy and sweet sauce that is more spicy.
Bora bora roll: popular roll per waiter’s rec and has many different sauces. I can’t remember how what was it it exactly, but again it was very spicy. And unfortunately it too had cream cheese which distracted the flavor of the roll.
Rolls had plenty of pieces but were pretty pricey. I’m not sure it is worth the price. Probably won’t go again since I’m not fond of all the rolls with cream cheese.
Also, they had many different kinds of sake. We tried the sweet sake which had a cloudy appearance that the waiter warned us about. He also got us a sample before we ordered it. It was slightly sweet and, I thought, pretty smooth, but I am by far no expert in sake.
