5.0The food at Swagat is rich and aromatic, and everything that I have tried there is delicious. The lunch buffet (which features a wide selection of extremely fresh entrees and appetizers and unlimited masala tea) seems to be gaining popularity and it gets a bit crowded on weekends, but we have never needed to wait for a table. Service is fast and friendly and the decor is unique, but beautiful.
The prices are slightly higher (only by about 1-2 dollars per person) than I’m accustomed to spending on Indian food in other cities like Philadelphia and Boston, but the food (and the delicious tea) is well worth it.
Swagat makes a fantastic version of this dish that is rich, creamy and fragrant, made with only white-meat chicken. It is available in mild, medium, or hot (very spicy, be careful).
This dish is always available on the lunch buffet in my experience.
Delicious! A little spicy, but it works with the sweetness of the peas.
