The salsa is the only item keeping this restaurant from getting the highest rating. It was acceptable, but somewhat bland. The chips are a cut above, extra crispy. I really enjoyed my dish which they name alambres arandas. It is skirt steak, shrimp, peppers, onions, cheese and spices. It was very good, better than I had at the Taqueria Mexico on the Westside of KCMO. Everything was cooked just enough not to be mushy. A generous serving of shrimp was provided along with the steak. The restaurant looks to be a former chain restaurant with an exagerated five sided shape. The interior is attractively presented.
