A hidden gem in small town New England. Everything we had was just great and obviously homemade.Between my friends & I collectively, we tried the grilled salmon, the steak tips and two of their tossed salads. All of which were great. We shared a homemade spinach and artichoke dip along with a black bean quesadilla. I really appreciate going out somewhere that knows what they’re doing, and The Firehouse clearly knows what they’re doing.
The salmon and tips were both grilled perfectly. The fresh sauteed garlic spinach and grilled asparagus were equally as good. My vegetarian friend was impressed that she could choose tofu for her salad, and was equally impressed with the homemade dressing. The last salad was a great take on an old classic. It was a Caprice with added fresh spinach and cucumber that she had with shrimp. She loved it.
