IN SEARCH OF THE ULTIMATE CHILI DOG
My wife and I have been in search of the ULTIMATE CHILI DOG in West Michigan for the past three months. We finally found it !!!!
The MICHIGAN STREET SPECIAL is absolutely the top notch winner. A KOGEL dog top with LOTS of yummy chili. And… by LOTS … I mean LOTS…. SO much in fact you need to eat this with a fork. ( unless you are brave of course )
We both highly recomment GRAND CONEY for your best chili hot dog treat ever. They have SO many other fine tasting delights as well.
The staff is VERY friendly and make you feel at home.
They NOW also accept credit cards.
Eagerly looking forward to our next visit…… Sheila and Bill

Great food and atmosphere
I’ve came to the Coney for years with friends, the food is almost always great, if you go any place enough you’ll occasionally have a bad night. Unfortunately one of the group is sensitive to gluten, and even the fries now have gluten(coated for crispness) so we don’t go much anymore.
Dishes I tried:
MICHIGAN STREET SPECIAL
The Michigan Street is a huge mess! It’s basically a plate filled with 2 koegel hot dogs on buns, covered in flint and detroit chili, mustard, and onions. When it comes to the table it’s nothing but a sea of chili on the plate, you have to dig to find the hot dogs under it all! It might kill you, but at least it’ll be a tasty death!
