My wife and I have dined both in the formal Hunt Club Restaurant and the Hotel Lounge area. The ambience in the Hunt Club restaurant reminds me of a dignified club atmosphere: dark paneled wood and subdued lighting. However, at Christmastime, the greens and golden lights adds a nice, festive touch.
Our preference, though, is to order off the more limited and lighter menu in the Hotel Lounge. The prices are still pricey but the service is personable and attentive. Salads and sandwiches are $10-16 but ordered with a bottomless cup of coffee and complimentary homemade potato chips, it makes for a nice light meal. The lounge setting of this fine, hundred year old hotel is classy and relaxing. There is a mix of tables, couches and overstuffed chairs (with side tables). Certain hours also feature a talented piano player/singer that adds to the gracious charm of it all.

It’s not bad. The setting is a bit boring, mostly people from the hotel, but the food is quite nice. It’s a simple menu, but all 4 of us seemed to enjoy our food. They take prime card too. I may go again there, if I’m in the vicinity, but would not make a special effort.
