Great Atmosphere
We’ve been going to King Phillip’s for several years now. From the outside it may be deceiving, but inside is quite nice. There’s the main restaraunt section that’s your typical combination of tables and booths, and a large lounge section.
We happen to almost go to the lounge section, as it has a large stone fireplace, and local musicians on the weekends. The atmosphere in the lounge is excellent. You can order appetizers in the entire lounge, and full dinners at the bar and a few tables by the bar.
The waitstaff is always pleasant, and the patrons are laid back.
The menu offers everything fish, pasta, steak, chicken, and the like. We tend to stick to a few things. The KP potato skins are excellent. We like most of the fish dishes. I wish they’d expand the menu to include more pasta and chicken dishes, and to offer burgers, and sandwiches.
I’d rate it a five star if they had a wider variety.
