The Nook’s a popular diner location on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. You can order typical diner foods, and the service is fairly prompt, but as with any diner, the food is only “eh” at best.

Caveat: this place was closed late last year and recently re-opened, but I haven’t been since the re-opening.

Outdoor seating was nice, service was about average. I had one of the omelette specials, fresh tomatoes with basil and asiago cheese. It exceeded my expectations, the eggs weren’t overcooked and the flavors came together really nicely. My friend had their eggy toast which also looked good. I’d go back again.
